So, where does the stereotype of Mini Led's high power consumption come from?

On the one hand, traditional LED chips are large and inefficient. The common LED screen in daily life is still the SMD LED display of large particle patches. This kind of SMD display is composed of a good package of light beads, the light chip used in the lamp beads is much larger than the Mini LED chip, and the luminous efficiency and heat dissipation efficiency are very low.

The Mini LED flip chip has higher brightness and luminous efficiency than the large chip used in traditional SMD (1010/1212/1515, etc.); Therefore, under the same conditions, the Mini LED flip chip power consumption is also lower.

Outdoor leds, on the other hand, leave a stereotype. LED direct display into the indoor display field has not been long, and the traditional sense of LED direct display is more common in outdoor. General indoor display, whether LCD or LED, brightness in 200-400nit is enough, but due to commercial needs, the brightness required by outdoor LED is dozens of times higher than indoor, reaching 8000 or even 10000nit, power consumption is naturally not the same. And the area of the home display screen is also tens of hundreds of times that of the indoor screen, so the LED leaves a stereotype that not only the heat is serious, but the whole screen power consumption is also very high.

Why does liquid crystal consume more power than impression?

Because the LCD can't turn off the backlight layer. The display of the liquid crystal is achieved by two different systems: the backlight is responsible for providing brightness, and the liquid crystal molecules control the color, light and dark changes by deflection. Therefore, as long as the LCD is turned on, no matter what screen is displayed, even if it is a black screen, the backlight layer has always been constant brightness and steady on, and can not be freely adjusted or closed.

LED direct display is self-luminous by the LED chip, brightness and color are directly driven by the current and voltage LED chip to achieve, dark pixels low light, low power consumption, black pixels do not emit light, no power consumption.
